Huddersfield Students’ Union Website Redesign: A Digital Developer’s Perspective

As the Digital Developer at Huddersfield Students’ Union (SU), I was tasked with leading the redesign of our website, huddersfieldsu.co.uk. Our goal was to create a digital platform that truly reflected the vibrant community of students we serve, while also providing a functional and informative resource.

The existing website was outdated, difficult to navigate, and didn’t effectively showcase the breadth of services and events the SU offers. It was clear that a complete overhaul was necessary to improve user experience, enhance our online presence, and better engage our student body.
